Not having a book distributor or publisher, I have my book in Amazon only as ebook. Hope to offer my book only in bookstores or at talks.

Amazon wants you to walk into bookstores, compare prices and order online. Glad to see people are actually buying "real" books!

Cold freeze projected, affects farm workers, no work, no food or warm clothes; been there as former farm worker.

Hard times for many, especially the chronic poor, farm workers come to mind, yrs ago I was one. Lucky me, I can give, food, blankets.

Wrote blog on NO Child Left Behind for Huff. Post last month. My thoughts on parent responsibilities and lack of school equality.

They didn't lack for passion, could tell they cared. Their students come from difficult environments, parents are non-English speakers.

Spoke to staff at very poor school district with dismal student scores, can't help but think, given resources and time, they will do better.
