@Theholisticpsyc “Be supportive, yet not involved.”
This phrase has changed my life.
And especially for those empaths among us, your ability to sense someone else’s emotions / pain doesn’t mean you need “fix” them.
English

@Growwithamaka Taking action is also the only way to receive feedback which leads to corrective action and ultimately: success.
English

@fasterchanges Exactly taking concrete action demonstrates a genuine commitment to achieving a goal.
English

@EdHorne78 Yes, it feels good embracing ‘constant and never ending improvement’ (Kaizen).
A gentle stretch toward excellence one day at a time.

@EdHorne78 The hubs and I have switched to sharing a glass of Kombucha nightly instead of wine.
Boy do we sleep better!

Concretizing Thoughts: How a Whisper Becomes a Wall
Sometimes, a fleeting thought paired with strong emotion is all it takes to hypnotize ourselves into stuckness.
Sarah (not her real name) told me, “I’m procrastinating a project at work. I need to get it done. I feel like I have a block. I just can’t do it. I don’t even think of it. I keep forgetting until I’m supposed to sleep, and then it keeps me up all night long.”
Sound familiar? Those 2:00 am thoughts that tippy toe out when the ‘anxiety closet’ opens for nightly business.
Sarah had been in a deep “I want to do absolutely nothing” trance since her third, worst round of Covid. Painful. Debilitating. And during that time, she had a single whispered thought: “I want to do absolutely nothing.”
That was it. One suggestion. Paired with emotion. Boom!
Trance.
Sarah was brilliant at it. For three months, she did absolutely nothing. Not laziness. Hypnosis.
But the moment we released the memory and cleared the emotional anchors, her energy came roaring back. By the next day, she was up and taking inspired action on things she hadn’t touched in months.
That’s the power of unconsciously concretizing thoughts. And the even greater power of undoing them.
DM me if you’re ready to break your trance and move again. Let’s find the whispered thought that’s been holding you still.

@Natashado13 Currently I do this one to one. A course is an interesting idea though ;) Thank you Nata.
English

@fasterchanges Nicola, you can create a course on how to avoid falling into this self-trap.
English

@Natashado13 I giggle as I read this. A blessing in disguise.

@EdHorne78 Ed, well said! Imperceptible shifts = invisible gains. When it seems like nothing is happening, that’s a great time to remind yourself that so much of growth is invisible, just like a seed sprouts underground, out of sight.
English

@fasterchanges Very good. We all need those who are further on the path than we are to aspire to. Progress is made incrementally, in small imperceptible shifts.
It all adds up over time.
English

@Natashado13 “Why not” is a great follow-up question, Nata!
English

@fasterchanges The question "What if?" is very good, and "Why not?" is the perfect follow-up.
English

@Natashado13 I’ve caught myself eating too fast many a time, barely pausing for food to get on to the next client.
It makes such a difference to pause, chew, and actually TASTE my food, to appreciate it.
Then, I return to work restored instead of rushed.

5 Body-Basics to Win your Days
ALL spiritual practices start with bringing us back to our bodies.
Why? Because we forgot how to:
*WALK – we attached a new organ to our bodies called “my car”. It’s a prosthetic limb we lean on for everything, even for the 200-meter trip to the store.
But even if we walk, we move like stiff robots: hands glued, hips and knees rusty.
On top of it, people are walking in their heads or with their heads in their phones. Not with their bodies.
Walk, walk more, walk mindfully. Swing your hips, look around. You will spot fresh sights (stuff that's been hiding in plain view forever).
*BREATHE – We’re so stressed, we’ve forgotten how to breathe properly.
Quick, shallow gasps are all we know.
Take a deep breath, and you’ll feel a shift to calm and balance.
This is the first aid for panic or stress.
*SLEEP – we treat it like wasted time.
There is always something more important or interesting to do than going to bed on time. (Im guilty of this too).
Sleep is not a luxury, it's GOLD under your pillow. Your day will feel 10 times brighter after just one good night.
*EAT – We don’t even taste our food. We eat too quickly, chewing became a chore.
It may sound stupid, but chew more. Can't do 30? Do 10.
You are not a pelican to swallow your fish.
You’ll not only eat less but enjoy your food. Daily pleasure X 3+
*REST – Scrolling doesn’t count as relax.
Rest your phone. Rest your TV.
Do different things to recharge: play, read, garden, or just sit with your thoughts and a piece of paper. Not all of these at once ;).
Changing activities is true rest for your body and mind.
*WHAT ELSE? — You need minutes or days, not years, to feel better and enjoy every day.
English

@Natashado13 It’s true Nata. We operate from trance to trance. It’s only a question of are they the most useful ones? We can upgrade them!
English

@fasterchanges Fascinating story. I believe we have all hypnotized ourselves at certain moments in our lives, often without realizing it.
English

@Growwithamaka Thank you. Every day is a chance to break free from the old and forge a new story.
English

@fasterchanges Very inspirational story,
It made me realize that at the end the power to transform your life lies within you.
Take the first step today, and discover the freedom to create the life you truly desire."
