see being aroace IS a spectrum but i find it really odd how 90% of the time allos only bring that up to be able to ship aroace characters when theyve shown no canon romantic interest in anyone. it's not inherently bad but it's weird to me

and i know it's so very easy to say that you'll know when it's happening to you and that you'll put your foot down if/when the time comes, but this stuff is often covert until you're already "in too deep", for lack of better phrasing. people have every right to be uncomfortable

this includes roleplay. even if it's "just" romantic. even if you think it's fine and your boundaries were respected it doesn't make it okay. an adult encouraging this type of dynamic is extremely irresponsible At Best and that's if you're being charitable and assuming the best
