Artists who don’t like making content:
Remember that in the 80’s in order to work in music you HAD to 1) move to a music city like LA 2) book shows in a saturated market 3) print physical flyers out PER SHOW and hand them out FOR FREE to people to try to convince them to come to your show (sometimes outside of shows you weren’t playing).
There was never been a pre-internet artistic utopia where people just made music and didn’t have to market themselves.
