Will never forget a good portion of draft media tried to tell us Tyree Wilson was better than Will Anderson. Don’t overthink greatness.

@KingPlex__ @JeremyBranham I can get on board with everything but WR. I think we see a moderate jump from Higgins and Noel, and maybe tank dell returns to form (wishful thinking, but I’d be hard pressed to bet that he returns to his rookie season form). I think we can address WR in next year’s draft.

@fatherly @JeremyBranham Lol -I’m not a fan of Dalton & Foster is meh. I think we should draft Eli Stowers, an RB (D-Mo was a #2 in Detroit, I’m not sure why we’re dead set on him being a #1 here) IOL & WR. Nico misses ~25% of his games & is overrated - I’d trade him high & draft a dog like Chris Bell.

@KingPlex__ @JeremyBranham Agreed. The complacency of the free agency additions at OL has shown. We should still be targetting IOL at the draft along with TE.

@JeremyBranham Our defense is the best in the league and has gotten better with Reed B, and our offense is in the toilet so we choose to draft/prioritize more defense? DT at 28 is cool, but doubling down with a LB at 38 when this draft is replete with great LBs is wild.

@beltwayboyz Hall could prove to be a good depth piece but Id still go oline, TE, or LB before WR.

I did it. I took KC. I think he gives the Texans much needed insurance and adds more upside and competition in the WR room

@beltwayboyz I’d add TE over WR as well.

@beltwayboyz Interior Dline, getting younger at O-line/depth, LB depth are all bigger needs over WR imho.

@beltwayboyz I like KC but, Y2/development Higgins, noel, and the return of Dell gives us a reason to not draft a WR until later rounds, if at all. It’d be reckless for the FO to go WR with more glaring depth needs at other positions.

Nick Caserio and DeMeco Ryans operated the Texans in the way we've come to expect contenders and good organizations to behave. They also taught us about their football thought process. What we learned about the Texans in Free Agency on Texans Code Blue: texanscodeblue.substack.com/p/what-we-lear…

@JohnCrumplerMD Honestly, I’d put a lot of trust in my anesthesiologist if he was a decent bluestack writer for the Texans.

Football is great because you’ll be doing work and then randomly think stuff like “What if Bill O’Brien had gotten to draft Teddy Bridgewater at the top of the 2nd round? Could he and Clowney have been Anderson & Stroud a decade earlier?” And then just go back about your day

@QuinnsMullet3 @DDelgattoNFL 100%, but injury history doesn’t look great especially for an RB. But I’ll admit he’s improved his ability to stay on the field last szn.
