I was reading a book by Chinua Achebe recently and he referenced an accurate example of this encounter play out. There is a huge responsibility on our hands as Artists. We are stewards.

I’ve always considered that a creative artist can be a "genius" for the history books while being a "hazard" to their contemporary society. This is what happens when their work is culturally monumental but socially "irresponsible".
