Please don't contact me or anyone at Unplug about this situation. Unplug has never centered the team - It's a community space and we want it to stay that way. However, I did not anticipate some of the backlash I've seen and it felt really really necessary to share.

When we asked for their "community space" that was going to be named "Radical" belonging to have affinity groups that center Black people explicitly, they said it was divisive You can't make this shit up. Mikey pushing for accountability is not "cancel" culture, it's protection

When we explicitly asked for legal representation in a very *big* project, L*ndo said they didn't believe in that. When we explicitly asked for time to decide if we were going forward, they went ahead and announced the partnership publicly before we agreed.
