Good luck to both of my Alma maters basketball teams, @LuHiGBasketball & @LuHiBasketball, as they play for National Championships today. So proud of these teams. Fun fact: LuHi’s @SavvySwords will be playing against @tsofilkanich whose sister @ImAshleySof plays on the same team as Savvy’s sister @SylaSwords at Michigan. Go Crusaders!

While this @Bucknell_WBB season ended too soon, the youngest team in the league has a lot to be optimistic about. Though the win-loss record doesn't show it, every member of this team improved this year. As @trevorwoodruff, @Coachlaurenhol1, @d_patterson33, Ed, and Shelby continue to develop these players, this team should become a force in the league. Elena has shown herself to be a very smart player. I wish her nothing but success as she begins her pursuit of a coaching career. Tuana took her game to another level this year, going from 7.5 points per game to 13.1. @annakunzwiler improved in every category. @Isabellacasey14 came into the season much improved. @ReeseZemitis added elite defensive play to her resume. I hate that @Elanaweisman33 missed most of the year due to injury after a terrific start. It was great to see @Desirae_2024 and @HMasonius overcome injuries and contribute. Looking forward to seeing @MarisaSmith34 develop. @itsmariahhardy was thrown into the starting lineup due to injuries and was outstanding, showing improvement each game. @EllaKreuzer did a nice job as a freshman, but I get the feeling we didn't see the real Ella due to her broken nose. @iamkaila_5 will progress into an excellent point guard. Would like to see Grace develop and get some playing time. Looking forward to seeing the new Bison next year: @AlainaDadzie, @gracefeeney214, and @LiggioTessa. Let's go Bison!

@Bucknell_WBB Let’s go Bison!!

IT’S GAME DAY!!! No. 7 Bucknell is hosting No. 10 Colgate in the first round of the Patriot League Championships today at 4 p.m. #rayBucknell #TST

When this season began, one of the things that impressed me most about this @Bucknell_MBB team was its depth. Then the injuries started and never seemed to stop. It got to the point that the first thing I did when I arrived at Sojka was check who was dressed to play. Kudos to @JohnGriffinIII, @jflannery23, @coachmattgriff, @_coachbmac, @walley_mike2, and @CoachBehanSJC who, despite the injuries, put a competitive team on the floor every game that fought to the end. I wish this season had gone differently for seniors @primetimeruot4, @_joshfulton_, and @bradymuller1. @SpadoneAchile did a terrific job leading the team down the stretch. He deserved league recognition. It was great to see Quin put his injury behind him and play quality minutes. I wish these guys all the best moving forward. Looking forward to seeing a healthy @MccreeshBrandon back next year. @patrickobriennn did a really nice job stepping up off the bench. Curious to see what a healthy @GrgurBrcic can do in a full season. @jaywilliams202, one of only two Bison to start every game, did so while playing with back pain most of the year. Can’t wait to see what he does when 100% healthy. @a1eks_11 was a nice addition this year. @KellenWelch_ and @mattlange04 made the most of their minutes. The trio of Amon, @PatrickCurtin21, and @Jacob_Meachem is one of the strongest freshman classes in years. It was fun watching their progress this year. Shout-out to @skylar_spitz, @CoachJMcKenna and @BuckManagers. What you do does not go unnoticed. It's going to be a long summer. Let's go Bison!

@JohnGriffinIII took an undermanned @Bucknell_MBB team into battle with #1 seed Navy and they played their hearts out to the very end. I am so proud of this team.

Congratulations @Bucknell_MBB, @JohnGriffinIII on a great first round win. Terrific job holding Army to just 55 points. The freshman @PatrickCurtin21 & Amon were just so damn impressive in their first championship game. Pat did a bit of everything, 24 points, 9 rebounds, 3 steals and 2 assists. Amon added 17 points, 3 rebounds and an assist. @SpadoneAchile 19 points, 5 rebounds, an assist and a steal. Good luck as you travel to Annapolis to sink the midshipmen. Let’s go Bison!!

What an absolutely impressive win today by @Bucknell_WBB. To hold this Lehigh team that averages 65 points a game to just 45 points, especially at this time of year, is incredible. Tuana with 12 points. @EllaKreuzer took it up a level today. 12 points, 5 assists, 2 rebounds and a steal. @itsmariahhardy gets stronger each game. 9 rebounds, 6 points, a block and a steal. Not only was @ReeseZemitis perfect from the line 6-6, she has become a force on defense. She had 3 steals, a block and 9 rebounds. @annakunzwiler worked hard today. She had to deal with pressure bringing the ball up almost every possession. She then scored 7 points, 2 assists and grabbed 3 offensive rebounds. On the defensive end she had 3 steals, a block and a rebound. @Isabellacasey14 8 points, 3 rebounds and a steal. @Desirae_2024 7 rebounds, 2 blocks and a free throw. I love that we got a little payback on Lehigh. This team just sent a message to the rest of the league. Don’t take them lightly. There is no question in my mind that if the Bison play this way against Army on Wednesday, they will finish the regular season on a winning streak. Let’s go Bison!

I'm so impressed with how this group stepped up today. Time to go to Lehigh, sweep them, and finish league play on a win streak. Let's go Bison!
