@cramboh tank, stand, filter, heater, light, siphon, 5gal bucket, water quality tests, water conditioner, fertilizer, hardscape, plants, the shrimp themselves😭 it adds up so fast

Aquariums r awesome cause I’ve lowkey just been standing there and staring at it before bed for the past few days

@TonySoprano_22 so they are harder to manage especially for beginners. I would strongly recommend going with a 10gal if you can! more space to work with, and the cost of settimg up a 10g vs a 5 is pretty insignificant

@TonySoprano_22 generally yeah but you have a few things to consider! 1, shrimp are prolific breeders (assuming you're talking neocaridinas) so youll probably end up having to cull your population at some point, and 2, smaller tanks can be more unstable in terms of water quality, (1/2)
