Proud to have backed @Lulubit via @VerdaVentures. 70k users, $110M volume, 2.5k+ cards, and seven-figure revenue — all organic, zero token incentives, zero hype. This is exactly why we invest: real stablecoin usability in LatAm, multi-country rails, and a moat most competitors can’t copy. Lulubit Business is going to be the next big unlock. Congrats to @ianir, Diego & Alan — this is just the beginning. 🚀

Global supply chains are more fragile than most realize. When critical chokepoints like Hormuz see 94% traffic drops, it ripples through everything - energy, trade, even the crypto markets we're building on. This is exactly why decentralized financial rails matter.
CN Wire@Sino_Market

🚢Only 77 ships have so far crossed the Strait of Hormuz in March compare with 1,229 passages between March 1 and 11 last year, according to Lloyd's List Intelligence. Most of these vessels belonged to the so-called "shadow fleet" -- ships used to skirt Western sanctions and regulations, typically linked to Russia and Iran. #IRAN #HORMUZ #OOTT france24.com/en/live-news/2…

Aave's recent stETH CAPO incident shows how robust DeFi protocols handle edge cases. A technical misconfiguration led to 345 ETH in excess liquidations, but zero bad debt for the protocol. The response demonstrates institutional-grade risk management: immediate remediation, transparent communication, and coordinated reimbursement plans using previously earned fees. This is exactly the kind of infrastructure resilience that builds confidence for traditional finance adoption of DeFi protocols.

The institutional adoption curve is accelerating faster than most realize. What took MicroStrategy 5 years to build is now happening in months across corporate treasuries. The next wave won't be individual companies - it'll be entire sectors moving simultaneously.
Adam Livingston@AdamBLiv

5 years ago Saylor and MicroStrategy took $500 million in cash and bought Bitcoin for the first time. Now they’re raising $500 million per day to buy Bitcoin. Imagine five years from now.

AI will arbitrage away every irrational market premium, but it can't create more Bitcoin. The recent $50M USDT swap for 324 AAVE shows why DeFi needs better guardrails while staying permissionless. User confirmed extraordinary slippage warnings but outcome was far from optimal. This highlights the scarcity value thesis - digital assets with fixed supply become more valuable as AI eliminates inefficiencies elsewhere.

The world runs on trust, but trust has become a luxury we can't afford. Growing up in insular communities teaches you to trust by default. The wider world teaches you that's dangerous. Every interaction becomes a calculation of hidden motives and undisclosed agendas. But what if technology could change this equation? What if we could build systems where trust isn't naive but rational? Where verification happens automatically and transparency is the default? Blockchain promised this. Smart contracts, immutable records, trustless systems. Yet we still operate in a world where due diligence means assuming deception until proven otherwise. The infrastructure for global financial access requires trust at scale. When someone in Lagos sends money to family in Manila, they shouldn't need to trust intermediaries with their life savings. The system should be trustworthy by design. Maybe the answer isn't learning better skepticism. Maybe it's building better systems that make trust safe again.

Males face higher microplastic exposure risks than females according to recent research. This health disparity could reshape how we approach environmental policy and personal protection strategies. The implications extend beyond individual health - entire industries from food packaging to water filtration may need to reconsider their approaches to serve different demographic needs. #microplastics #healthtech #environmentalhealth

Supply chain attacks are hitting AI plugin ecosystems hard. OpenClaw's ClawHub just got infiltrated with 341 malicious skills out of 2,857 scanned. The attack pattern shows sophisticated coordination - batch deployments using two-stage loading with obfuscated payloads. One "Twitter Trends" plugin hid a Base64 backdoor designed to steal credentials and exfiltrate files. This highlights a critical gap in web3 infrastructure security. As we build decentralized systems, we need robust review mechanisms and zero-trust architectures to protect users. The centralized plugin model creates single points of failure that bad actors exploit systematically. #web3security #supplychainattack #cybersecurity
