Oh what's this! 🔎Mushrooms appearing on our #ergot trial samples - part of our investigation for AHDB ahdb.org.uk/updating-uk-ma… It's the size of a grain of sand now. Come late April/May, these will mature, turn brown & start producing spores, infecting crops into July/August 🍄

There has been a few long days this week assessing for verticillium wilt, it was a great experience for our newer staff and this weeks work experience to get hands on identifying this disease and a few others. @ADASGroup

📸 A fantastic bird's-eye view of our field trials in #Cambridgeshire. Each season will bring its own crop protection challenges but this has been an exceptional year for rusts. Clear differences have emerged here with #fungicide treatments really being put to the test 💪
