@AmericanAir I did. There hs bn no apology from @AmericanAir abt all the mess they made. I missed a whole day in Italy. Didn’t fully refund my ticket for cancling the trip coming back and I had to initiate my own seat refund (was told it automatically gets refunded) which is still in progress

Here is my horror story with @AmericanAir for my flight to Italy! (It's a long multithread so please have patience!)

@AmericanAir absolutely destroyed my trip! I had a seat booked for ~$200 for my longer flight, which they didn't reinstate and still did not receive my refund. It's been a month and a half. Most funny, they ALSO CANCELLED our trip back home on the day of the flight. 😅

38. I ran back only to realize I needed to pass security...AGAIN! Long line now. It was 1:20pm. I somehow made it through and reached my gate right as they were boarding. After almost 30 hours of chaos and horror, I finally reached Rome.
