Why do players think if they go D2/D3/NAIA they will get on the field quickly🤣 It is incredibly hard to go start over a 4th year senior who has the playbook memorized. As a matter of fact - as someone who played D1, D2, and D3 - there ON AVERAGE were 1-2 True Freshman (out of 30+) who even got a FEW snaps on special teams......... Do not be misled, CFB is tough at any level

I used to think giving a kid a deadline on a scholarship offer was the wrong approach. But in the real world, when you’re offered a job, you don’t get four months to decide—so what are we actually teaching them?

Prospects ➡️➡️➡️You can’t have proper expectations in recruiting without real evaluations 🗣️ Just because mommy, daddy, Grandma, or your friends tell you, you are D1 doesn’t mean you are‼️ Get evaluated by multiple universities & hear that out of a coach’s mouth not big mama’s mouth 🤷🏾‍♂️

For all my OL Recruits out there, if you're in the process of making your Highlight tape, or want to remake it. We (OL Coaches) understand that not every program has a tight shot. But use all the tools that hudl has to offer when it comes to making your highlight tape. You can add a Label on each clips "LG-Down Block" "Center-Pancake" etc etc It's not your fault that your HS film might be filmed from a mile away, but you can help yourself out by adding in helpful descriptions. It's really hard to watch your film with a small arrow that points at the OL, not just you, or the circle icon that encompasses the entire OL. Coaches watch so much film, you want yours to be memorable and easy to watch, some of the things you cant control, But if you can make it better, do what you can.

Spread the word, D3 players. You may have years of NAIA eligibility if you played less than 3 games any year. NAIA is also voting on 5 years of eligibility this spring. I played D3 football at Monmouth, and four of our current coaches played D3 football at Alma, Augustana, Carroll, and Redlands. We love D3 football. Come get a scholarship for grad school.
