@fbpe_h E Yorkshire LD won a National prize again yesterday at the LD Conference for the 3 LD victories in 5 months at local by-elections where 3 Tory wards became LD with LD Party winning over 50% of votes in all 3 wards.

@Cathyghouse Yes, I can imagine that. Some Labour MPs are like that - but not all. My sister’s Labour MP on the outskirts of London is apparently pretty useless. Our last Labour MP in my constituency really did a lot for our community.

@fbpe_h The LD Party work hard in wards. We might not be in power but we are constantly leafleting and canvassing and not just at election time. Voters recognise us as the party that is there to listen and support.

@Cathyghouse I have friends who absolutely hate this government who are voting Green or LD because they cannot vote Labour because of their lack of support for tbd EU. In my area - that is a key marginal Tory/Lab

@fbpe_h Interesting delivering leaflets yesterday for local elections and asking people in their gardens if LD could count on their vote in May, the LD outstripped the Tory voters by double, and no-one admitted to supporting Labour.
