Getting there, he was rejected. And told to go to LUTH or nearby general hospital. He ignored them and was just screaming in pains while still holding his intestine and stomach together (still unbelievable to me, when I first heard it). It was a good samaritan inside the hospital who quickly took him out and waved an okada and then rushed him to Igando General hospital. It was there he was first treated and stabilize before being moved to LUTH.

Around 2011 or 2012, a driver colleague of mine was shot, not just shot he was riddle with bullets and somehow bizarrely survived, that got him the nickname "Kokumo". For those of you that doesn't know the meaning of kokumo. It's a Yoruba word for "never die again".

This is heartbreaking. No one should have to go through something like that. But I’m trying to understand, how exactly did the kidnapping stop him from returning abroad? Did he lose his passport, miss his return flight, or lose his job? Or did he travel with home with a one way ticket or didn’t have job to go back to? The details matter because stories like this help people fully understand the reality on ground. And honestly, this is a lesson for those abroad claiming neutrality and refusing to speak up against the damage these politicians are causing. Nigeria can happen to anyone, even if you live abroad.

My husband still regrets coming back to Nigeria 2019 to visit his family, He was kidnapped that same year, was later released after paying huge amount of ransom which affected his traveling back , When we think, things are getting better again for him to go back, His elder brother was kidnapped,ransom was demanded , Hubby sold all his resources and assets just for his released because his four kids was still very young and the wife, But even after the ransom was paid, he was still killed, no body to retrieve, At the same time, hubby lost everything to them,and was also in so much debit which has been cleared by God's grace Instead of staying without anything, he decided to borrowed little money and get second hand Keke which he is managing now but has been in a bad shape since last week So to the f@@l that was calling me an Igbo beggar just because I committed on a giveaway, may Nigeria happen to u too This was my husband before Nigeria happened to him and now 🙏🙏🙏
