@Clux_DX @SSBM_Luu I don’t really understand controller discourse but as far as I’m aware things like boxx and zumping both help with stuff like wave shine and up throw up air but people consider it cheating, I am still very new so idk where I stand but right now I’m on full OEM :)))

@fckshowtime @SSBM_Luu In one breath even longtime players will complain about this, but in the next they will complain about a rectangle with 20 buttons on it for fixing the exact thing they complain about and costing less than the modded controller they pay to get renotched every 6 months

New melee player yesterday was asking me why it's so hard to turn around in this game and I had nothing for them, it's impossible.

Got home and ate yummy McDonald’s and I had an above average day

Didn’t play dbd for a bit and now trickster is a cunty girl maybe I need to come back and not play melee as much

realizing most of the problems I have with melee right now is that I’m new and I suck

@auxypoo_ I think I’m just not used to certain things but I’m starting to get used to things like wave dashing, L canceling, safe on shield aerials, etc, I just need more kill confirms and idk how to necessarily do up throw up air well on fox and there’s no YouTube tutorials for it but yea

@fckshowtime u do, its a stricter timing on non fast fallers + its percent based and on marth or puff % matters a lot u need to know it by memory u def dont need to have a good controller to follow up on ur up airs lol u can also get a decent controller for like 151 cad on etsy

@auxypoo_ The only characters I don’t struggle with this on are Fox, Falco, and sometimes falcon but those characters are all really easy to up throw up air or up throw up smash, the problem is when I get to Marth or Puff or something like that, maybe I just need to be faster but idk
