Thornaby FC can share the following update on Shaun Ryder. Shaun has remained in hospital since the incident on Saturday afternoon. We can confirm that Shaun has had to undergo surgery and is now recovering from that. The club is offering Shaun and his family support and all of the kind words and thoughts shared by supporters of Thornaby and the football world have been hugely appreciated. DARTS at Thornaby FC 🎯 The unstoppable Jonny Gardner did it again. Pushing for the magical 9 darter. It’s coming.. will it be Finals night… What a game in the final, once it hit 3-1 the serious side was gone and Kenzie Cann and Jonny had a bit of fun as is the intention. Jonny hit two treble 20s pushing for the 9 wired the third dart. Followed up with another 140. Then a ton.. then hit 71 leaving 50.. he asked a spectator to “pick a dart“… Laughing he did and Jonny did a no look bullseye to end the contest with a smile.. That’s what it’s all about.. competition with fun along the way.. what a fantastic way to end qualifying. Now who’s gonna beat Jonny.. finals night which is Weds 18th March.
