I was in SF, sitting in one of those little self-driving cars.
we start moving and suddenly the car hits me with:
“please fasten your seatbelt to continue the ride.”
continue? continue??
bro YOU are the driver.
i didn’t sign up to be supervised by an AI.
like imagine replacing humans with AI and the first thing it does is start being your mom.
“seatbelt.”
“sit properly.”
“ride will not proceed.”
this is the future?
we automated the driver just to get micromanaged by the vehicle itself?
i’m bearish on AI not only because it’s dumb but also
because it’s already acting like middle management.

5 reasons why every developer should visit San Francisco in their prime :
1) You will sit in a random coffee shop and accidentally overhear a conversation that makes your startup idea feel small. It’s not discouraging, it makes you better.
2) The feedback here is honest and it is free. Someone will tell you in 90 seconds what your friends back home spent 6 months sugarcoating around .
3) You will meet someone at a random rooftop who is building the exact thing you are building. Except they started yesterday and already have funding. It will terrify you and motivate you in equal amount .
4) The city will make you realise that ambition is not a personality flaw. Back home it made you weird. Here it makes you normal.
5) You will leave either completely sure this is where you belong, or completely sure it is not for you. Either answer is worth the flight.
Come to sf

We took liquidations
And deleted them from perps
@Timelock_Trade Perps is LIVE on @monad.
You didn’t always lose on bad analysis.
You lost because the system manipulates prices, liquidates and moves back up
It’s time to flip the script.

Giant tech companies cut approx 180,000 jobs as AI reshapes the tech industry.
In 2025, major tech companies have cut over 180,000 jobs, making it one of the largest waves of layoffs the industry has ever seen. As firms double down on artificial intelligence and automation, the pace of job reductions has picked up through November, impacting roles ranging from middle management to customer support across companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Google, Intel, and others.
These layoffs go beyond routine cost-cutting and signal a deeper restructuring of how tech companies function. In November alone, Verizon revealed plans to lay off more than 13,000 employees, while HP said it could reduce its workforce by 4,000 to 6,000 roles by 2028. Apple scaled back sales teams handling business, education, and government clients, and Amazon let go of roughly 14,000 corporate employees in October, including over 1,800 engineers.
This doesn’t mean AI is simply replacing jobs. Instead, it suggests that work requiring physical, human involvement, such as agriculture, plumbing, welding, waste management, and similar trades, will become increasingly valuable. These sectors could turn into major opportunities in the years ahead.
