I can't even count on my fingers how many times we had to tell staff that "patient is deaf". They all still proceeded to speak to the patient as though they can hear. I'm beginning to doubt that physicians have training to care for persons with disabilities.

Unbelievably rude night staff AKU Karachi. Feels disheartening to leave loved ones in the care of staff that point blank ignore you when you ask a question. What's going to happen when a disabled patient is asking for something? They won't even notice. @AKUGlobal

I judged a STEAM science fair recently. These kids had done more to combat the heat in one day than our government's attempt to fight climate change in a decade.
