The gas leak on Ray Street between Merrill and Ledgeview has been controlled. Residents who were evacuated may return to their homes.

FDLFR is on scene of an active gas leak in the area of Ray Street between Merrill and Ledgeview. Please avoid the area as evacuations have taken place. Alliant Energy is on-scene and are working to stop the leak. Updates will be sent out as they are available.

The Police & Fire Commission (PFC) of the City of Fond du Lac unanimously voted to appoint Erick Gerritson as the Fire Chief of the City of Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue Department today.     Congratulations to Fire Chief Erick Gerritson on the appointment!
