Wonderful to welcome Christie and her mom Katie to the State Board of Education meeting today! Christie is visually impaired, but through Department assistance within the Bureau of Exceptional Education and Student Services, she now has the academic support to continue to learn and grow as she moves into higher grade levels.

Hosted our final IEP Binder Workshop for parents at Dolphins University! 🐬 Thanks to FDLRS, families created binders to stay organized and informed about their child’s rights. #YourBestChoiceMDCPS

Family Fest 2026 was a powerful reminder of why we do this work. Our schools are only as strong as the families we serve. When we grow together, our entire community thrives.
