A lie takes one sentence. The correction takes more than a page, it takes a whole thread. You explain the context, you cite sources, you explain the mechanics, you add nuance. Meanwhile the person spreading the claim has already moved on to the next one. History is full of this asymmetry. For centuries people believed the Sun revolved around Earth, until Nicolaus Copernicus and later Galileo Galilei dragged astronomy back toward evidence. It took pages of observation to dismantle what could be claimed in a single confident sentence. Crypto has its own version of this. But Verification takes curiosity, Understanding takes patience. So the next time a viral claim about a project crosses your timeline, remember: misinformation travels fast, truth carries receipts, And receipts are heavier.
