@googlesearchc If you want site owners to "understand...the criteria" then please stop using the words "Fail" and "Failing"! It's "Good", "Needs Improvement", and "Poor" -- that's it! Mislabelling URLs as "Failing" induces panic and confusion. It's not accurate and not productive.

.@philwalton @addyosmani @egsweeny @rick_viscomi @JohnMu @katiehempenius Can you please ditch the Core Web Vitals "Pass/Fail" language in PageSpeed Insights and Search Console? It isn't accurate (CWV isn't actually pass/fail!), and it stresses people out unnecessarily. Plz help!

.@JohnMu It would be really nice if GPSI and GSC would get rid of the "Passing" and "Failing" language around Core Web Vitals. Now that it's not actually pass/fail (as originally announced), using *only* "Good/Needs Improvement/Poor" is far more accurate and helpful.
