Call me radical but what if Home Feed = posts from ppl you chose to follow Explore page = suggestions for other content you might like!

Imagine you searched for ‘linen cushions’ and google just showed you videos of dancing celery in return - because their data says you’ll spend longer looking at dancing celery, which they can count as ‘growth’. That’s pretty much how Instagram wants the home feed to work 🙃

Somebody took my rooster overnight, broke his neck & dumped his body in a stream. Not an animal - only a human could have unlocked the multiple locks on his coop and got him out. He was my tame baby boy. I raised him from a disabled chick. We are heartbroken 💔

@meandorla @theinstachat Yes - NO thank you to forced reels! I like treating them like snippets of my process but don’t like feeling I have to do ‘trends’. Hoping I’ll find a trend, one day, I want to do though 🤷🏻‍♀️

@theinstachat A5b: also, reels aren’t a massive part of my creativity, but I’m not desperate to change that. I dislike the feeling of a forced reel, and the editing is time-consuming and just.. not my fave! Maybe if I find someone awesome to outsource the editing to… 🤔 #theinstachat

@theinstachat A4. I will probably use favourites but I really wish IG would give the option of lists like twitter. Sometimes I want to consume content that is all about building my business, sometimes I want to dive into interiors. Having it all jumbled up can be exhausting #theinstachat

Q4: Instagram have said they’ll be introducing new home feeds this year - one for “favourites”, and one for everyone you follow, displayed chronologically. Do you think you will use these options? #theinstachat
