New York taxpayers are sounding the alarm. 🚨 The conversation is heating up over how state spending and tax policies are impacting everyday residents. Is it time for a serious overhaul? Read the latest discussion here: groups.google.com/g/tax-payers-o… #NYPolitics #TaxReform #NYC

@VickieforNYC Please Vickie less talk and more action. Why is our New York City council wasting time tweeting about bagels? And then deleting them.

Why is our city council official Twitter account wasting money and time with meaningless tweets to the constituency. Please focus on constituent services. Tweeting is not a skill. Constituents deserve better. And why are you deleting tweets what a waste of time!!!

This is true. Have you ever dealt with the DSA? Last election eon did not even live in the assembly district. It was pointed out they wanted to kick people out. Unfortunately it was a public park. They can't kick people out of a public park. 😀🥺🥹😀

@OsseChi None of the people in Eon’s poster are from BedStuy though…he’s the candidate of gentrifiers

@fedex1 State & city budgets DO matter as deficit spending is not lawful. Governor Hochul is not going to allow for the top tier owners to bear an increased tax burden & the NYC Council does not want to raise property taxes 9.5% as Mandani suggested. That means austerity. 🤷🏼‍♂️

Deficits just don't matter. The budget is like chewing gum they're constantly modifying it. They literally have three categories. Planned, Adopted, and Modified. Plus watch this video on how government really works. youtube.com/shorts/so3L0Kg…

@CMShaunAbreu @ShaunAbreu Thank God for the huge budget deficit which will make some of these plans unaffordable, especially daylighting. The NY DOT testified last year in front of the NYC Council daylighting would cost approximately $3 billion to daylight NYC’s 40,000 plus intersections. 💸👎

@NYCCFB @nycibo This is getting almost comical if not horrendous. There should be protests. The mayor doesn't know what he's doing. Let's lower the rents, Let's create parking fees. Let's raise property tax across the board. Wait, that's going to increase rents. Oh well

If Curtis Sliwa had dropped, I absolutely know that our efforts in NYC could have been successful to defeat Mamdani. We drove record turnout in New York City and dragged Cuomo — a deeply flawed candidate — from 28% in the polls to nearly 42% on Election Day. If every Curtis voter had gone to Cuomo, we’d have been short only 35,000 votes. Given the energy we built on the ground and online, it’s absolutely realistic that we could’ve motivated far more than 35,000 additional New Yorkers if they believed the race was winnable. We weren’t just close — we were within striking distance. And with unity, we could’ve crossed the finish line.
