I did already address the legal standpoint (looks like the age of consent in Canada is also 16). Brain development isn't hard to grasp, I just disagree with using that to define adulthood. 1/2

This 17 year old is very clearly an adult human female biologically. Even legally the age of consent is 16 in most of the US

In 2000, this event was pretty much entirely teens and guys in their early 20s. It would be mostly middle-aged freaks today. That's why it looks relatively wholesome. Youth can make just about anything look appealing.
