Yes, I made my first 500k from trading late last year. Of course, the urge to spend the money lavishly was there. To give to almost everyone I see on the street…to buy the nice clothes and everything else. But what did I do with this money? I upgraded the device to which I used to make this huge amount. Before I made that money I was using a basic Samsung but then I had to upgrade it to S21. Then the remaining part of the money was invested into different stocks (dangote cement, MTN and the likes…) Yeah I had little change remaining, made little money and lost some. Until I finally went down to a loosing streak. But what kept me going? The wisdom I applied to upgrade my device with forex money and also invest the remaining to grow. If you’re currently investing in any of the stocks I mentioned above, you should know how well your portfolio should be shining right now. Had it been that I lavished all those money and went into a loosing streak, I wouldn’t even have any money at all set aside that is compounding. I’m not saying this for saying sake, but to bring it to the notice of newbie traders like me… Try as much as possible to make money, but then also know how to sustain and grow that money.

@ZillaTrades_ For instance I took a long on UCAD yesterday, by NYO. MY target was 75 pips, stop was 10 pips but by Friday's European open I was at 35pips, trading at resistance and already late into the week. Expecting retracement on DXY, I had to cover my position at 35pips. Hope you get?

@ZillaTrades_ Why not take 50% off at 1:5, then let the rest run to logical levels taking profits? You can also start from 1:3 then scale off at other objectives/targets 1:3, 1:5, 1:7, remaining 10% at 1:10 then move stops to B.E, Then aggressive stop trailing as price moves.

I was in 300L Studying Microbiology After being fed with you can work anywhere lies from 100L to 300L, it was time for IT. Carried my letter of reference and went to every known lab I can think of, I went to food industry, water industry, health care, hospitals, from Ib to Lagos to Ogun state They all rejected me. Even my friend that studied Biochem was rejected too. Finally after 3 months of searching and begging, one small hospital in the trenches finally accepted us. lol, if you’re currently studying microbiology, you’re just wasting your time

The goal in trading is not to impress people on the internet. The goal is financial freedom, stability, and longevity. If you can pull money from the market consistently, respect it. Protect it. Grow it. Because the market has a brutal way of humbling traders who forget the value of money.

I met this girl here on Twitter and we’d been vibing a lot. After some time, I decided to meet her in person and take her out. When she arrived, I was shocked. She had told me she was 27yrs while we were talking, but judging by her face and body, I’d say she looked around 17–18yrs. I didn’t say anything at that moment. Since she was already there, we still went ahead with the date. I bought her so many things, but along the line I noticed she was ordering too much. I tried to talk to her about it, and it led to a misunderstanding. She started insulting me, asking what exactly I bought for her that was too much. During the argument, she said she was leaving and still asked me to give her transport fare because she was going to Ogun State, claiming she didn’t have money with her. Imagine… after insulting me, she still expected me to give her more money, lol. I told her I wasn’t giving her a dime. She then went ahead to insult me even more, calling me brokie and all sorts of names. I got really upset and left her there. I don’t know how she later managed to get home, but honestly, I don’t care.

I used 1,300 as exchange rate and it’s about 36m. You guys really need to work on your financial literacy it’s affecting you all. 36m at once, let’s say you don’t have a car before, get a clean Honda evil spirit, 5m, you use an extra 1m to run new Tyre, service it and clean up to your taste. (Many would want to buy a car of 18m to prove what is not to friends) You are left with 30m, bring 10m and place in MMF at 16-20% per annum, you are left with 20m. Bring 10m and buy stocks of 5-10 good companies, and watch it compound for you. You are left with 10m, put 2m in your emergency fund, some give as high as 15% per annum. You are left with 8m, buy some clothes (don’t do branded) upgrade your wardrobe sensibly, you can get an apartment and furnish reasonably, you don’t need to live like a king. Next go and find a job, with a decent pay 👍👍👍.

That since he started he has never lost a trade on Gold 😤 And that there's nothing like psychology affecting traders. He said he even learnt risk management by himself nobody taught him. My friend was crashing at my place. Said it was temporary. Three months later I’m like okay, this is too much. So I found him an apartment and paid his first month’s rent to help him out. Next month comes and he looks at me like “bro I thought you had me?” HAD YOU ke? I just let you live with me for free for three months and paid for your new place. Now I have to pay forever? Somehow I became the bad guy. People started saying I abandoned him. Lol. I could’ve told everyone the real story. How he never offered money for groceries. How he acted like my place was a hotel. All of it. But I didn’t say anything. Not because he deserved it. But because going back and forth wasn’t going to change anything. We’d both just look stupid. Plus he needed someone to blame. That’s how some people are. They need you to be wrong so they can feel right about their situation. I wasn’t going to give him that. I figured out that some people will forget everything you did for them the second you stop doing more. And defending yourself to people who have already made up their mind is a waste of time. I kept quiet because my peace mattered more than winning an argument. Yeah it cost me a friendship and some money. But at least I can sleep at night.
