@180Personal I think my key issue with people praising Jax's character is there's a big air of sympathy around him, like we're supposed to feel bad for him. But it's just.. not possible for me? His misogyny and harassment of other people just makes his whole sob backstory fall flat for me.

It's sad that a lot of people don't know the difference between objective writing and the feeling it involves. Like, saying "Endeavor is an amazingly written character" doesn't mean "Endeavor is an amazing person" it means "Endeavor is an amazingly written shit scumbag that deserved every bad thing that happened to him"
