As temperatures rise, animal diseases enter their peak season. In Shidian County, a major competition on disease prevention skills has just concluded. Thirty-three outstanding representatives, selected from the county's frontline disease prevention teams, competed against each other. The competition wasn't about who looked the best, but about who followed the correct procedures; it wasn't about speed, but about the number of errors.
Ultimately, 12 winners received a special honor—township-level "internal trainers." They will shoulder a new mission: to bring the standardized procedures demonstrated in the competition back to every livestock pen in the county.
