Felician Sisters joined two interfaith prayer vigils outside the U.S. Immigration & Customs Enforcement field office in Pittsburgh (March 6 & 13). Sisters and partners prayed for compassion, dignity and for immigrants, remembering 43 who died in ICE custody this past year.

January at Felician Mission: Haiti was filled with meaningful work. Sisters Inga, Marilyn, and Julitta helped lead preparations for water filtration training, while continuing tutoring, sewing classes, accompaniment at the Mother Angela Clinic, and catechesis in the community.

Twenty-eight Felician Sisters gathered at Maryville Retreat Center for the Directed Annual Retreat. Highlights included daily Mass, a candidate acceptance and a fun s’mores campfire. The week ended with renewed vows and gratitude for the time spent together. 🫶

From July 15-19, fifteen girls from grades 5-8 had a fantastic week at Sister Ann Therese Kelly’s Illumination Stained Glass Studio. They created beautiful glass art, from hearts and stars to owls and unicorns. ✨

I was honored to visit the Mooncrest Neighborhood Programs sponsored by the @feliciansisters today. They promote emotional, social, intellectual, spiritual & family development in the Moon Township community.
