🚨 CAMBRIA DOCS UPDATE: PATCH 1.2 — THE SOLO & SMALL GROUP BUFF 🚨 @playcambria just dropped a massive update to the Season 3 documentation. The message is clear: You don't need a mega-guild to survive anymore. They are aggressively balancing the game to make playing with a small group of friends (or even solo) viable for high ROI, while punishing "Zergs." Here is the full breakdown of the meta shift: ⚔️ Combat & Looting Changes (Huge QoL) 1. PvE Loot is now for EveryoneGone are the days where only the player with the Highest Damage got the drop. New Mechanic: Drops from mobs are assigned to a random killer involved in the fight. Why it matters: This makes casual grouping and "Loot Share" way easier. You don't need to be the max-DPS carry to get paid. Note: They added thresholds to prevent "drive-by" stealing. You have to actually contribute. 2. Anti-Zerg PvP MechanicsIf you bring 20 people to kill 1 solo player, you are going to hurt your own profits. Trash Rates: The more killers involved in a PvP death, the higher the "Trash Rate" of the dropped loot. If you zerg someone, the loot might just break. Penalty Removed: They removed the PvP loot penalty based on Reward Index. 💸 Economy & Guilds (Paymasters are back!) 1. Paymaster Kickbacks RestoredA huge win for the economy layer. The 20% cut of Charter purchases going back to Paymasters is officially BACK (it was 25% in S2, removed, and now reinstated at 20%). Cap: T1 / 0.002E per charter. 2. Dynamic Guild Taxes (Meritocracy)This is a game-changer for active guilds. Guild Tax is no longer flat. Range: 4% to 13% (Default is 13%). How to lower it: The tax scales based on the Rolling 24hr Guild Ranking. The Catch: Ranking is based on Total Royal Favor (RF) split to the guild. If a player only splits 5%, they only count for 5% of their contribution to the ranking. Result: Leech guilds pay high taxes. Active, contributing guilds get cheap taxes. 🎯 The Verdict The dev team's goal with Patch 1.2 is specific: Minimize the need to join a massive guild to be competitive on ROI.
