It was a privilege to have spent some time with Prof Spinelli at the Humanitas university Hospital learning the art and craft of TTSS. Prof Eloy Espin was also around during my travel fellowship; what an awesome time and privilege learning from great minds.

I was very privileged to have been trained by the very best in the field of complex abdominal wall reconstruction and management of complex perineal hernias. I am grateful to the Colchester university Hospital for providing the travel scholar and to Prof Tan Arulampalam.
