Proud moment for the Brydge team.
Today, Brydge (@insidebrydge) was recognized by Development Bank of Nigeria at the Tech Summit for the work we're doing to unlock intra-African trade.
Every day, we help businesses source products, verify suppliers, make payments, and coordinate logistics across African markets.
Only 6% of Africa's trade happens within Africa. We believe the future looks very different.
Our goal is to build the operating system for African trade, making cross-border commerce as seamless as buying from a local supplier.
The award is encouraging, but the mission remains the same: help businesses trade with African businesses at scale.
We're just getting started.
If you're a manufacturer, importer, distributor, or trading company in Nigeria, South Africa, Egypt, Kenya, or Ghana looking to source inputs, or build more resilient supply chains, we'd love to speak with you.
And if you're a financial institution, logistics provider, trade organization, ecosystem partner, or investor passionate about building the future of African commerce, let's connect.
The future of African trade will be built by Africans trading with Africans.
Join us.

🤯 Over 70k organic views and 200+ bookmarks in the first few hours. The love and support has been amazing. Thanks everyone.
So, let’s share some BTS.
This was not the first video we shot, & produced to announce this event. (raw snippet attached)
The first video was shot in one take with a friend’s content creation kit. It was more relaxed and natural, but didn’t have the kind of aura I wanted the event to convey.
So, I called up a pro in London. When I first heard the bill, I re-thought. Recall, till now, it’s been Condia just footing the bills.
But I was determined to get something better. Samuel (on our marketing team) had prepped a script, & flow. So, I tried to work with it, but still wanted to retain the soul of the event.
Anyway, we were constrained by one camera and had to do a bunch of takes from different angles, to be merged in post-production, some without audio, some with audio. So, if you see glitches, that’s why 🙈
After the first edit, I called up my bro @Fosudo to have a look. He gave really good feedback that helped us reduce pixelation, make it more engaging, and caught a bunch of things my untrained video eye missed. Most of the US shots were taken by me on phone. So, it was in portrait. But the video final production was to be in landscape.
So, you’d notice that when I was reeling out the US events I attended, they showed on one half of the screen, to retain the reduce pixelation.
This event means everything to me. And I will do everything within my power to deliver the dream.
Good thing, I’m not doing it alone. I have a ton of experts working on different aspects, with friends & colleagues even volunteering to support. And then, there’s you; reading this, planning to attend, RT’ing etc. I see everyone single one of you, and I appreciate it.
Unfortunately, due to space constraints we will not be able to admit everyone physically. But we will live stream.
Next week, I go close out with the sponsors. Let’s get this ship sailing ⛵️
Follow @tbebycondia for official info. See you soon! #tbebycondia

Finally, the university you’ve been waiting for.
An @AltSchoolAfrica university degree pathway with an updated curriculum that guarantees you a better future. No strikes, no learning Pascal and Cobol in 2026, and a university in Nigeria built on a global model that focuses on learning and credits, not just time spent in school.
A university that rewards your effort and dedication to learning and building, and isn’t designed to limit you to 4 or 5 years before earning a degree.
If Harvard and other top global universities can complete a bachelor’s degree in 3 years, Nigeria should not be left behind, your timeline depends on how much time and effort you put in.
We reduced the number of diploma courses from 10 to 6 because my goal is not to hand out certificates left and right, but to give you an in-depth education. And after years of planning, we’re at the final stage of launching our degree pathway, a fully accredited and licensed degree pathway at @AltSchoolAfrica.
Both current and past students can benefit from this. So if you’ve completed a diploma with AltSchool before, you can come back and complete a degree.
The amount of time you’ll spend depends on whether you already have an ND, HND, or BSc alongside your AltSchool diploma.
And if you don’t have an AltSchool diploma, it doesn’t matter. You can still enroll for the degree.
I’m putting up a form to get your thoughts as we prepare for the launch. Please check the first comment for the link and help fill out the form.

Rank just got ranked!
What started as a belief in people, trust, and community has now been recognized by Financial Times, naming Rank one of Africa’s Fastest Growing Companies and the 7th fastest-growing fintech on the continent.
This recognition is bigger than us. It belongs to everyone who believed in what we’re building long before the headlines came.
The journey is only getting started.
