Netherlands: in yesterday's local elections, local parties emerged as largest in 223 out of 333 municipalities. CDA (EPP) did so in several rural areas while D66 (RE), GL (G/EFA) and PvdA (S&D) in mostly urban areas. CU (EPP) and SGP (ECR) dominate in the so-called 'Bible Belt'
