Congratulations to Assistant Coach Micheal Ferland (Cree) and the Brandon Wheat Kings on winning the 2024 Manitoba U18 AAA Championships! The BWK finished with a record of 52-0-1 (regular season and playoffs). Advancing to the TELUS Cup West Regionals, April 4-7 in Winnipeg, MB.

Swan River's Michael Ferland (@ferdaddy27) played 335 career NHL regular season games for Calgary, Carolina, and Vancouver, amassing 134 points. Ferland was recently the Head Coach for Male Team Manitoba at the 2023 National Aboriginal Hockey Championships, winning a gold medal.

For those kids that didn't hear their names called today... Our scouts job is to now find YOU! Just like they did Micheal Ferland and Matt Calvert, who went undrafted in the WHL and went onto NHL careers. #KeepPushing
