Dushyant Dave breaks down into tears in the Karan Thapar interview sharing his anguish at the increasing communal polarisation in the country. “I have sleepless nights, I am worried. If it is impacting me, how much is it impacting those belonging to minority communities” Dave.

The victory of a Dalit candidate Awadhesh Prasad from a "general seat" in Ayodhya is not merely "the BJP's loss". It is a blatant rejection of and resistance against the Brahminical politics of dehumanisation that not just temples but "Hindu" society at large is built on.

In all disrespect… You’re absolutely wrong Tamato doesn’t employee people they “partner” no social security, no structure of work hours, no guarantee of pay, no fuel allowance, accidental bonus is dependent on the raiting of the “delivery partner” In a garb of freedom they are crippled with 0 upward mobility. If politicians call this a job their children must seek it…

Deepinder Goyal, Zomato When I started Zomato in 2008, my father used to say “tu janta hai tera baap kaun hai” as my dad thought I could never do a start up given our humble background. This government and their initiatives enabled a small town boy like me to build something like Zomato, which employs lakhs of people today! @zomato @deepigoyal #TechLeadersWithNamo #Visheshsampark

psychology is maybe the worst taught social science in India-- takeover of this discipline by savarna women & hollowing it out of social context & caste, mainstreaming it in a pseudo-pharmaceutical discourse-- has been one of the biggest example of pedagogical shoddiness! PS. there are great teachers/researchers who challenge this paradigm, more power to them. But unfortunately, that isn't the mainstream :/

Update:In response to my gentle demand for acknowledgement, the makers of MIH put out a hostile statement calling it ‘misleading’. Was it also misleading when Alankrita Shrivastava, the writer/director of MIH requested a meeting with me in NY on July 15, 2022 that lasted 5 hours?

The past few days have been overwhelming. I continue to support @ghaywan’s excellent work, now with Made in Heaven and earlier with Geeli Pucchi on Netflix. But this needs to be said.
