FSG need to sell the club. This has gone on too long. We’ve had no stability at boardroom level for years. So many moving parts. Club needs a new direction under new people who are also willing to spend more than twice in 16 years. It’s a joke.

@ussoccerfeed She is a 100% right. She is a winner. He is not. Never was. Never will be. Not his fault though that American soccer is so bad an average player like Pulisic is held up as a poster boy.

I think Carli is a world champion and one of the biggest legends of the game in our country, full stop. But I don’t think she can draw from her career as a reference to discuss how a guy with 400+ pro appearances should be handling his body.
US Soccer Feed@ussoccerfeed

I really like Carli but this is really a really 1960’s nonsense take. Even before the news of him having a stress fracture broke. And I don’t know how to say this wouldn’t sounding like a ____, but she didn’t play the same sport as Christian.

@GDavies916 @MelissaReddy_ Ok so your saying it wasn't a foul. Ok. I hate VAR like most people. But in that instance the current law was applied correctly.

@fester205646767 @MelissaReddy_ I know the rules of football. Ask yourself this question. If Argentina had scored that goal, do you think it would have been disallowed? I have been to matches both with and without VAR and I know which is best for the fan.

I love football. I love late drama. I love comebacks. I love knowing that anything is possible and feeling like we’re watching a steady stream of some of the greatest games ever. I do not love how we are expected to ignore the inconsistencies in officiating and the interventions from VAR, which have largely been heavily weighted towards certain teams and its players. If you’ve watched and followed everything in this World Cup and are still subscribed the idea that it’s all fair, delusionville must be a lovely place to reside.

@GDavies916 @MelissaReddy_ Thats not the rules. Learn the rules. VAR can go back to when possession started. Do I like that ? No at all. But its the rules of VAR.

@fester205646767 @MelissaReddy_ That foul was 90 yards away from goal and they had plenty of players and chances to defend it. VAR shouldn’t be involved in that sort of thing. It’s called the beautiful game, let’s not spoil it with refereeing the game.

@RefereeHalsey @Iandennisbbc Its ok to admit your biased Mark. Everyone who watches football. Modric had a penalty given against him for the same thing. What did you say then?

@Iandennisbbc Agree Ian, subjective not a clear and obvious error and certainly not one for var to get involved with normal contact with two players challenging for the ball

@OllieHolt22 It was a foul all day in the lead up to the second goal. If a ref blew it at the time no one would have had an issue.

NO ONE CAN DENY THE SCANDAL. The Austrian player was fouled in this goal which Argentina scored and there was no VAR review. Today, Egypt's goal got disallowed because of a foul which happened before the goal. You can't justify this corruption.

@FOXSoccer @stuholden He and all the other US pundits hyped this team up for beating the likes of Australia and Bosnia Herzegovina. Belgium is actually not a great team but still was men against boys. Holden Lalas gaslit the american public into thinking this team could get to a semi final.

@ByDougMcIntyre @FOXSoccer This is what is wrong with american soccer. He did not establish as a legitimate star. You build players that are average on the world stage up to heights they dont have the ability to reach. The over hyping by the US media is unfair to players who just aren't good enough

Despite the #USMNT’s embarrassing World Cup exit — and despite being at the center of an international controversy through no fault of his own — Folarin Balogun established himself as a legitimate star. ⁦@FOXSoccer⁩: foxsports.com/stories/soccer…

Folarin Balogun has had a superb World Cup and dealt with the egregious red card with such grace. He doesn’t deserve to have a target on his back, be abused, or for his performances to be overshadowed by Donald Trump and FIFA. The USMNT, showing great hallmarks of a Mauricio Pochettino side, have been one of the standout teams at the tournament, playing with remarkable fluidity, intensity and enterprise, which was matched with grit when needed. It is shame that what they’ve produced on the pitch will be obscured and clouded by an unprecedented overreach off it that will have negative consequences for the game long after this tournament.

So let me get this straight, FIFA is rigged for overturning the wrong decision, but the VAR who broke the rules and reviewed the play in slow motion and the already accused corrupt referee who gave the red card weren’t trying to rig the game against us?? Ohhh ok got it!
