Why does Sinner 3-0 feels like a gift from heaven with odds of 2.40/+140?

She outlasted Bencic endurance wise, and scraped past Sierra and Liu prior. Her forehand is relatively loopy and gets poor depth. Her second serve is a disaster. Jess struggles with her second serve too somewhat, but not to the same degree. Her forehand is leagues better. Her flat ground strokes suit grass better. She had a better grass record and owns the H2H overall and on the surface. I feel she is the clear side here. Like ❤️ if tailing!

the moment we saw that price we knew the bookmakers had made a serious mistake. Cobolli is a significantly better grass court player than De Minaur and arrived here in considerably better form coming off a Roland Garros final. De Minaur on grass in best of 5 has never been convincing and the data backed that up completely.
yet people were putting De Minaur in “safe” parlays today. 😭
there is nothing safe about blindly backing a player because of their ranking. that is exactly the kind of lazy betting that costs people money week after week.
