I am saddened and outraged by the overnight gunfire attack on Beth Avraham Yosef synagogue in Thornhill—a brazen act of antisemitic hate and religious intimidation. Places of worship must remain sacred, safe havens in Canada. When they are targeted, our religious freedoms erode. This violence must be unequivocally condemned and swiftly stopped.
