Good analysis and I agree on NHS provision. However implying that government can spend and finance deficits was too loose and weak. I would currently argue for a balanced budget and market rates on bond sales and purchases

Its sad to see so many of those on the left champion £15/hr minimum wage. Here's a better idea. Government offer everyone a job at £15/hr. - More money in the economy, - Companies must pay more to retain their staff , else they leave. - No risk of unemployment. And why not?

@jbhearn You introduce JG. And you reduce welfare of people who refuse to work and are capable of working, if the benefits exceed the amount they can earn wit a JG. Exceptions will apply: eg moms with kids who can't work.

@jbhearn If you implement a Job Gty, welfare system will wither to almost nothing as long as pmnts are significantly less then what can be earned on a Job Gty job. If folks can't work, they would be assigned a counselor to visit them and help diagnose a disability, and prescribe care.

@fflorescpa The current welfare state pays people not to work. RIT offers a system that only pays those who cannot work while giving them the incentive to find work.
