THE NEWS YOU HAVE BEEN PATIENTLY WAITING FOR: STATEMENT FROM 'SAVE PENRHOS' As you are all aware, we have been fighting hard against development of our ONLY woodland (PENRHOS NATURE RESERVE/PARK) here on Holy Island since 2011. This has been an extraordinarily long battle, campaigning for what we believe has been determined unjustly by our Local Authority. *NOW THE GOOD NEWS* After years of hard work, it has finally been approved by a Judge to bring our case against the Local Authority and the interested party Land & Lakes (Anglesey) to 'THE HIGH COURT OF JUSTICE' in CARDIFF on Tuesday 27th FEBRUARY 2024. However, we now need to raise further funds for court fees, as our council (Isle of Anglesey County Council) in their wisdom have requested the courts to 'DOUBLE' our fees, citing that because we are a 'grassroots campaign' we can fundraise! It makes one question are they afraid we will win........YOU BET! We would like to take this opportunity to THANK YOU ALL for your patience and your loyal support to saving PENRHOS.
