humble proposal -- if you fill out a 75 page SF-86 and the government investigates your background and interviews your friends and ultimately grants you a clearance allowing for access to classified information that should probably just come with TSA pre-check and global entry

Absolutely horrifying to see a midair which comes after many recent close calls. I fly out of DCA several times a month so this hits close to home. Prayers for all involved.
