I feel like no one talks about coming out of a depressive episode. Because you feel good again but then you are overwhelmed with all the things you haven’t done, the people you haven’t had the energy to respond too, and all the things you’ve neglected

@Ciarabelles I’m a bigger girl and for as long as I can remember anytime I had to go to the doctors, they would always tell me that I needed to lose weight, no matter what I was in for. Only recently, has a new doctor taken me seriously and hasn’t mentioned my weight. I’m 23.

The reality of chronic illness and/or a hidden disability is that people think you’re fine and not unwell because they can’t see it. They aren’t experiencing the pain themselves. It sometimes feels like you’re trapped, screaming out for help and no-one’s there to understand.
