One thing I've learned running a creative meetup: designers are starving for in-person community. We meet up, share drinks and talk shop. Nothing fancy. Just creatives in a room connecting and learning about craft. If your city doesn't have something like this, start it. Buy some coffee, pick a date, post about it. You don't need permission. The people who show up will be grateful you did.

When you bought the $50,000 Tesla Model Y to save on gas & maintenance. Then you learned: - It loses 20-35% of its value by year 3 - It loses 55-58% of its value by year 5 So by year 5 you lost $35,000+ of value? ....Congrats on saving ~$1,000/yr on gas.

This month we'll add over $100k in new project revenue and our active pipeline grew to $250k. "AI is killing creatives" meanwhile we can't hire fast enough. Legit companies still need people who can ship. The "design is dead" crowd wasn't billing much to begin with :)

A Fortune 500 exec who runs one of the biggest blue collar companies in the country DM'd me yesterday. Gave me an idea that I'm starting to get really excited about. Build a version of YC for blue collar builders who use Claude Code. Essentially an accelerator for blue collar founders building for trades, construction, fleet, field services, etc. Whatever their domain expertise is. They offered to help fund the first batch, and we started to put together a list of incredible mentors. It's crazy how fast the power dynamic in software has shifted. But this could be very big.

If you've delayed giving your kid a smartphone, you're already in the fight. Now here's the next one: AI companions that never sleep, never disagree, and replace real human connection. Your kid doesn't need a chatbot that tells him he's special. He needs YOU.

the typical position about AI is that it can't be creative. that creativity is inherently "human". and while that might be technically true, i don't believe it's functionally true. creativity is simply taking primitives (paint, pixels, words, sounds, objects, etc) and mashing them together in unique ways, usually with the goal of eliciting some sort of feeling in the consumer (sorry, i know that's very clinical). and what AI is very good at is exploring every variation possible of combining primitives. so at that point, it becomes a UX issue. how do you surface the "best" combinations? but because "best" is entirely subjective, it's actually not that difficult of a problem to solve. you simply learn the tastes of the human and optimize for that. and want to push the boundaries a bit (in a way that art typically does)? well you can actually do that even more efficiently for every single user because AI already knows a given human's "taste" baseline and can optimize for pushing the boundaries in a way that's just the right amount for them. i'm not arguing that human creativity is a useless endeavor. but i am saying that writing off AI as being *incapable* of what we call creativity or ignoring that it exists won't change reality.

The most interesting bitcoin companies right now sit at the intersection of two things: a real operating business and a bitcoin treasury strategy. That's exactly what @bitcoinwell is. 2025 numbers: - $132.9 M in revenue - Online Bitcoin Portal growing 60%+ YoY - 150+ ATMs across Canada - 69 BTC on the balance sheet A business that's growing. A treasury that's accumulating. This is what the future of bitcoin treasury companies looks like. I'm excited to step into a new role as Capital Markets Lead, building the story around that and bringing the right capital to the table. We're just getting started. $BTCW $BCNWF

I couldn't imagine charging more than $10k for a project when I first went full-time freelance. Now we're on track for $1M this year. Nothing changed except how I saw myself and what I believed I was capable of. Allow yourself to think bigger.
