Three days in I notice the emails I receive aren't that great. Considering switching back to the broken DNS solution.

Wow, how could I ever think running my own DNS server would be a good idea. Silently missed all emails for several weeks. Spent an hour investigating an obscure bind error and 30 minutes to ditch it and configure DNS using my provider.

@joschi83 I have to admit I somehow liked LinkedIn for recent job explorations. But I am also looking at a limited market so e.g. search doesn't matter for me at all.

@fmueller_bln I participated in a program for new engineering managers and we did quite a bit of practicing conversations. Not sure though if a lot of people are doing this on a regular basis.

We do coding katas to practice specific techniques in software development. Do you know sth similar for engineering managers? Roleplaying maybe. Hard to compare, though, because the situations differ quite a lot. People and complex systems. Hard to mimic.
