@implausibleblog Rishi Sunak hasn't resolved disputes with nurses at @theRCN and SAS doctors are still in dispute, albeit about to vote on an offer. The lies need to be called out.

@implausibleblog The point is, we DID NOT HAVE INDUSTRIAL ACTION IN THE NHS PRIOR TO THESE EEJITS TRYING TO SYSTEMATICALLY DISMANTLE THE MOST AMAZING PUBLIC HEALTH SYSTEM IN THE WORLD, RELENTLESSLY, BEFORE THE PANDEMIC, FOR PRIVATE INDUSTRY, AND FROM DAY 1 IN 2010. IRRESPONSIBLE CHARLATANS 💔🤬🤦‍♂️

Rishi Sunak is A hypocrite and a liar Who has shown nothing but disrespect to a proud generation of veterans on D-Day. But he hasn't simply disrespected the wonderful veterans who were there yesterday @RishiSunak is the Prime Minister, and in this single action has shown contempt for all those who fought throughout the war. My generation and older (60+) grew up as children with our families who had fought in the war, still living it. It was in the air and it was what they spoke of often. We were taught a reverence towards it. It brings us to tears very easily , not for anything we have done , but for the memory of those we loved who did what they had to do. All families have their stories of horror and bravery and sacrifice including mine. In turn our parents had grown up with their fathers, grandfathers and uncles being cannon fodder in World War One. This age group, my age group, even though the vast majority of us played no part in the war, will never forgive Sunak for this, or forget what he's done. In insulting the veterans yesterday , he's insulted our families too. Note: Watch for the scramble from Tory MPs who've been happy to deceive the public for years, try and save their own skins by denouncing Sunak in the coming days "Nothing to do with me " "Oh he's made a mistake" "Labour would be worse" All the usual messages from charlatans
Rishi Sunak@RishiSunak

The 80th anniversary of D-Day has been a profound moment to honour the brave men and women who put their lives on the line to protect our values, our freedom and our democracy. This anniversary should be about those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. The last thing I want is for the commemorations to be overshadowed by politics. I care deeply about veterans and have been honoured to represent the UK at a number of events in Portsmouth and France over the past two days and to meet those who fought so bravely. After the conclusion of the British event in Normandy, I returned back to the UK. On reflection, it was a mistake not to stay in France longer – and I apologise.

Hypocritical doesn't come close. They defend blatant racism & Islamophobia, stir division, attack our civil liberties, trample our courts, treat refugees and migrants appallingly, and then ask us to trust them to define extremism? They do define it.
Caroline Lucas@CarolineLucas

Rishi #Sunak was spot on - democracy is indeed under threat from extremists. The problem is, they’re running the country. We urgently need to wake up to the scale of the threat they pose. My piece for @guardian theguardian.com/commentisfree/…

Human rights are universal - it’s not for this government to pick and choose who they should and should not apply to. That’s the point UK news shows should be making. If you agree RT this widely

I just voted against the Tories' vile Rwanda Bill. Refugees didn't create the NHS crisis. Refugees didn't create the housing crisis. Refugees didn't slash your wages. The Tories did. And now they're scapegoating vulnerable groups to deflect from the mess they've made.

‘Nanny state’? In the ‘50s the govt believed all kids should grow up healthily. Thus we were given orange juice, free milk, vitamins & cod liver oil. We had school doctors, nurses and we got free NHS dentistry. Today kids have rotten teeth, rickets , and are fed via foodbanks.
