@ficoshi League has patches every 2 weeks, I'm sure smash has patches but not nearly as frequently, there is a meta in league, there are people in high chall that play differently from the meta. My point is that the average person fall under " my convergence theory ".

my biggest issue with league as a challenger player for 8 years is that it is a game void of personal creativity you either know what to do or you don’t and in the end your rank reflects how much knowledge you have collected. there is a Best Play for every situation. it is

@ficoshi in every endeavor, at the highest level ,practices converge towards the best way of winning, not the most creative way. It's just normal, you can still be super creative in league, as long as you don't expect to win as consistently.

@ficoshi I may be only diamond but I kinda get the gist of what youre saying. It gets way to “cookie cutter” sometimes that there’s no new exciting playstyle that you can efficiently climb with. The game rewards consistency but after my 1000th full clear into bot gank, i wanna quit lol

@Jasiuoo but if azhy is able to do all of that to generate a gold lead then that’s the best way to win and is strictly better than what alois does is what im tryina say. no playstyles in league only right or wrong

@ficoshi i think there are champs that contradict this, looking at riven players, you have someone like azhy who perma handschecks his opponents and forces leads vs kr chall players in countermatchups through raw handspeed and mechanics, compare that to alois and it's night and day

mage bot players. a campy or aggressive player can both be #1 in fighting games or chess and that’s so cool. it’s as close to art as u can get for competitive gaming. choosing league as my main game definitely stifled my creative growth

impossible to watch a play and know who is piloting the champion. but in fighting games or chess u can see someone’s personality reflected in their play. if you watch a defensive projectile spamming ryu u know he’s a neet irl but there isn’t anything like that in league besides
