the discourse on the tl pissed me off so much i went and gave elon musk €4 just so i could type this all out in one post so buckle up cause i got shit i want so say. some of y’all are so determined to spread a certain narrative about hudson as a person and i’ve just about had it .. how come he’s either a selfish bastard who purposefully doesn’t want to associate himself with connor or a mentally weak losers who lets others dictate how he interacts with his best friend publicly to some of y’all? to think that hudson of all people would be easily influenced by anybody is insane when he’s the one person who, for the longest time, never let others police how he shows up for people. he’s the type of person who loves people deeply and cares for everyone’s wellbeing even at the cost of his own. he’s the friend who wants everyone to be happy even when that happiness demands such contradicting things from him. he’s never let online hate or harassment of his colleagues change how he interacts with them, the fandom’s opinion of his girlfriend tarnish his relationship with her or “his team” of whoever the fuck y’all think is in his ear about this dictate how he interacts with and shows love to connor publicly. until this month. he’s exhausted by all the demands around him and fuck isn’t he allowed to be when he has been pushed and pulled in all different directions for months as if the responsibility for maintaining an healthy balance in this fandom all sits on his shoulders? it’s like some of y’all will never be happy with whatever he does anyways .. if he shows love to connor he’s a “bird” with a humiliation kink cause connor is offline and therefore won’t reciprocate and get on the bad side of hudcels, if he even so much as acknowledges his girlfriend he’ll piss off the hudcons who are so convinced their relationship is over and he secretly hates her even when he has never done anything to suggest that, if he shows up at events with connor he’a feeding the shippers and therefore is a bad boyfriend but if he shows up with katelyn he’s exposing her to media criticism and fandom hatred and therefore is still a bad boyfriend .. and you wonder why the man has completely disappeared from social media except for a couple of stories here and there????? you wonder why he shows up as emotionally drained and detached in your tarot readings????? but of course y’all have no personal bias here so the only explanation for it is that his relationship with katelyn is over and therefore he’s sad about it 💀 sure!!! nothing else could possibly be causing this emotional strain!! you got it!!! don’t even get me started on this narrative y’all have been pushing for months about how everyone around him is evil and wants the worst for him or is trying to stir him in the wrong direction .. his girlfriend is evil, his friends are evil, his mom is evil, his colleagues are evil, connor is evil, his fans are evil. except for yew 🫵🏻 of course cause you’re the only one who loves him and knows what’s best for him. do y’all even hear yourselves??!?!!? this way of thinking is so toxic we need to have a serious conversation about it as a fandom. he’s not clueless or easily influenced, he’s tired. if you really miss “old hudson” so much then maybe take your fucking foot off his neck and he might show up again, and get over this delusional idea that you know of love him more than people who have supported him this whole time even when none y’all had any idea who he was.
