@fictionwork i kinda just force myself to sleep because otherwise i will spend all night paranoid that i just posted the worst media ever made... so i cheat a little and just take my sleeping medicine right after posting and then boom i am passed out for the night

I actually have a severe anxiety whenever I posted a fanfic ... like the moment I woke up after doing one, my chest muscle will literally hurt lmao

@parfaitette 😭 I mean I can relate to that! like for a moment (after pressing the post button) I do feel like "wow I posted it!" and then a few hours after that the anxiety will just kick in 😭😭😭

@fictionwork for me that anxiety just turns into an adrenaline rush/ high but the night i post a fic i genuinely start freaking out

dont get me wrong, reactions are truly nice and if I get comments about my work, I'm overjoyed! but good lord, interactions make me anxious for no reason (I practically only care a bit about stats and stuff 😭 but still I do somehow need to think about it even if I dont want to)

in addition to that, I have all notif on my main turned off (including kudos and comment emails) and my ao3 skin doesnt even show any stats 🥲 its that serious bc being perceived is scary to me despite it being a good thing so I only able to see comments from ao3 mail inbox 😭
