@IanLandsman think i like the macos vm idea since in theory you can snapshot it after setup and start a new one

Yeah I did the whole thing. Only took a few hours. Probably should have done it all via dotfiles for easy re-setup but didn't. The fast switching is really nice. Wish it was just a tiny bit faster even but if you select it and then put your finger on the touch id it's near instant.

I finally got a system to setup where I can run the AI in dangerous mode. It makes using Counselors even better. Re-did my groups because of it, have a new 'a-team' group that's just Opus and 5.4 when I want fast and good. A design team with Opus and Gemini, and the big team with all 4 for deeper analysis.

@willking People who make Diet Coke their entire personality mostly likely have a “live, laugh, love” sign in their house.

Claude Code CLI is goated but typing large amounts of text in the CLI is not. Pro tips: - option-left & option-right navigate by word - ctrl-c delete all - ctrl-w cut back a word, ctrl-k cut to end of line, ctrl-u cut to start of line, ctrl-y paste - ctrl-g go into vim mode

After a decade of using Vimeo, I think it's time to migrate to a new platform for Laracasts. @MuxHQ is the front-runner currently. Testing it out today. 😀

why is minecraft Bedrock not on MacOS in an official way? it’s technically possible - in fact, by jumping through an insane set of hoops, my kid does it (legally grey?!) come on microsoft, make some more money

I built a thing! Ask multiple agents the same question, get back independent answers, and let your main agent synthesize them. One npm install. It uses your local CLIs and writes markdown. The interesting part is when the models disagree! github.com/aarondfrancis/…

Thinking of migrating away from Heroku. Testing out Hetzner, an average latency to the (CrunchyData) database of 2.16ms is a bit too bad right? Heroku to database is 0.5ms

@michaelkoper ah interesting - that az alignment note is probably important there. no idea if the database might change AZs but if you can figure out which az it’s in maybe you can line the ec2 up with it

@fideloper You'd be surprised! <1ms is good enough tho. I think I'll go with EC2 :)
